Is it just human nature to take our partner for granted and think that there is someone better out there? Why do we focus on our partner’s weaknesses? So often what we want from them seems to conflict with what they offer. It has been said, “We marry someone who cannot give us the one thing we want (or need).”A good example of this is that often a man will say, “Just tell me what to do and I will do it” while his wife wants him to know what to do.What a frustrating conundrum. Perhaps we would all be better off if we appreciated who our partner is and what they provide.Stop looking at what is not there and love what is there.
