Thoughts can be fleeting and sometimes do not appear to have value. Like a river carves out a canyon, over time they create patterns and beliefs that influence the content of our lives.Over the course of a day notice your thoughts about your partner. When you see your partner, what comes to mind? Is it loving? Is it critical? Is there a feeling? What belief lies underneath?Thoughts hold powerful messages that warrant our attention. How do you want your relationship to be? Notice how your thoughts realize or undermine that intention.Each day write down three things you like or appreciate about your partner. It is important to write them down. Can you share them with your partner?Notice if anything changes.
